Fun in the sun

It's been an amazingly sunny and beautiful summer up here in Seattle. We're trying to make sure to enjoy the great weather as much as possible so today we went paddle boating at Greenlake, played a round of miniature golf (we tied!), and Joey finished it out at the driving range- all in all a fun day.

Hope you all had a great weekend. Love and miss you!

oh yes- the waters can get quite choppy out there- easily 3" swells! haha. there were so many signs warning us about the dangers of not wearing lifejackets that we just complied with their rules. man, we are SHEEP!

Ha. Sometimes it is just easier to follow the rules than fight them... I'll save that energy for the really important stuff. Like shopping.

Glad you guys had such a good weekend. I went to Pilates yesterday, took a bike ride from my house to Venice beach (8 miles) and then swam and sunned for a bit (the ocean is beautiful right now!) Very southern california in the summer.

I am looking forward to being DONE with the Bar in ten days and getting to do far more of the fun things! :)

Looks like a lovely weekend in Seattle! We had a few weeks of gorgeous weather, which proved to be all that Britain could take in one season, so it's back to dismal rain.

Amy, glad you're back into Pilates! I'm away for the week with work up in a place called the Lake District, working at a Christian Convention. Miss you guys!
